The journey of self-discovery
I started this blog two years ago to document my stories; experiences and lessons learned hoping to give hope to someone reading. Then I go lost, talk about blog pressure. Hmmmm, sigh. Somewhere deep down I didn’t believe in the content I was putting out and tried to be like other bloggers. The beginning of my nightmare.
Well.. enough of the history class
I have chosen to retrace my footsteps and find my voice.
The dream is to be a looking-glass through which the younger generation finds solace. It’s very important we find and understand our purpose-what our contribution to the world is. The first aim of the blog was to tell my story but now I want to help you find your story and share it with the world too. I’d like you to follow me on this journey of self-discovery as I touch on life issues that affect us all.
My goal is to help as many young people start discovering WHO THEY ARE not being stuck with WHO/WHAT THEY THINK THEY ARE as dictated by the society, our perception of self, peer pressure, and a wide array of disorders. It’s sad to note that a lot of us DIE without discovering this.
“Human beings focus more on having than being”.. Think on this
To speak life to every young person that connects to the blog. My life and yours might be the only BIBLE someone ever reads before they die, so let’s make it count.
I’m not claiming to have all the answers but together we can uncover a lot. If you decide to subscribe to this blog, I’d please ask that you PURCHASE A JOURNAL – Your new best friend on this journey.
Lastly, WHO ARE YOU? Try answering this question in the comment section below without telling me the obvious things I’d get to know eventually by spending more time with you.
Consider yourself an ICEBERG. I can see the surface quite alright, Tell me what’s below. I can’t dive below the surface, I’m hydrophobic..
I leave you with this quote:
“Align your personality with your purpose and no one can touch you; figure out your purpose in life. You don’t have anything to give/offer the world that you don’t already have; you have to keep yourself full. Your real work is to figure out where your power base is and to work on the alignment of your personality, gifts, and the reason you’re on earth” – Oprah Winfrey
